Very few things in life can give you more satisfaction
than knowing you made a difference in the life of a child. While the
Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Suffolk County, NY, Inc. has an
active Board of Directors, more than 150 wish granting and fund raising
volunteers and a professional staff, the real Wishmakers® are
the donors who ensure that no qualified child will ever be turned down because
of a lack of funds.

Our Fund Raising Programs:
Kids For Wish Kids is a program which enables
kids to help other kids who have life-threatening medical conditions. Students at the
elementary, middle and high school levels devise fund raising projects such as
bake sales, dance parties and talent shows. For more information on Kids For Wish Kids, please call 631-585-WISH.
Wishmakers on Campus is a fund raising program
designed for college organizations such as student governments, athletic teams

Wishmakers® at Work
This fund raising program was created as a means
of enabling employees of a company or business to join together and design a
fund raising event or an ongoing workplace campaign that fits the needs of
their particular work environment. For more information, please call

Special Events
Coordinating a special event, like a golf tournament or car wash, can be an exciting and challenging experience. Because state law mandates that all charitable special events be registered with the charity, please call 631-585-WISH for more information.
Donating items for raffles or auction for our events is easy. We can always use items for our "goody bags", such as towels, visors, tees, or novelty gifts. Examples of prizes for auction or raffles are: electronic equipment, sporting goods, sports equipment, sports memorabilia, jewelry, tickets to theater or sporting events. We always have between 200-800 guests at these events, and donors will be acknowledged in our quarterly newsletter, which is sent to over 5,000 recipients... it's a great way to advertise! Scrolls, Commemorative
and Memorial Donations
A donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County, NY, Inc. can be the perfect way to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries, celebrate births, or the memory of a recently deceased friend or relative. In lieu of favors for your special occassion, we will create personalized scrolls acknowledging your donation for you to give to your guests on your special day. United Way/Combined Federal Campaign
While the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Suffolk County, NY, Inc. is not a United Way agency, we do participate in its Contributor's Choice program in many of the counties it serves. For the United Way of New York, the Foundation's Contributor's Choice code is #913. For more information on contributing through United Way in your county, please call the Foundation at 631-585-WISH. Federal Government employees may contribute through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) by using the Make-A-Wish Foundation's designated code #11375 .
Frequent Flyer Miles
Many national airlines allow you to donate frequent flyer miles to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Your donation of miles for wish child travel will help extend the resources of the Foundation to other areas of wish granting and the mission.
